The event is held at the Interstate Center, 2301 West Market Street in Bloomington, IL. The event will be under one roof again this year in conjunction with four all-breed shows sponsored by the Corn Belt Kennel Club, Inc. and The Illinois Valley Kennel Club of Peoria, Inc. The Center will open to participants at 10:00 a.m. the day of the show. No one is allowed to enter the building before that time.
The host hotel is the Holiday Inn Express. There is a block of 10 rooms reserved at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel (#8), 1031 Wylie Drive, Bloomington, Il The phone number is 309-820-9990. Please plan to reserve your room by May 10, 2008 or the rooms will be released. The room charge is $92.00 for two double beds, or a king size bed. There is also one suite available. The pet fee is $10.00 per day. The rooms are listed under hospitality Chairperson, Barbara Lorscheider. The Holiday Inn includes the use of their facilities and a free, full breakfast daily.

http://www.onofrio.com/shwpubs.html. The closing date of the show is 05/07/2008. Please respond to the reservation forms in the ETSCA Premium list as early as possible. If you are showing another other breeds, please let Sue Jackson know. The Show Superintendent will try to avoid conflicts if at all possible.
Events and Activities
On the day of the Specialty there will be a catered luncheon available at the show site. Cost is $12.00 per person and reservations must be made in advance. A reservation form is available in the premium list. Late reservations will cost $15.00.
Following the judging a discussion of the Breed with the judge is planned after which dinner is planned at Biaggis Restaurant. Reservations for the event can be made with Barbara Lorscheider or Jamie Ward.
The dinner and auction are scheduled for Friday May 23, 2008 and will be held at the Interstate Center at 6:30 p.m. Cocktails will be available at 6:00 p.m. (Cash bar) This year the dinner will be a buffet style dinner with a cost of $35.00 per person. Reservations can be made using the form in the show premium list. If your reservations are not received by May 7, 2008, the cost will be $40.00. The annual meeting of Friday, May 23, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. at the Interstate Center Conference Center. All members are encouraged to attend.
An informal learning session and party are scheduled for Saturday, May 24 at 7:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express. Cost for the party is $10.00 with a reservation available in the Premium or addressed to Kathie Lawrence and Dianne Hill at PO Box 2344 Hutchinson, KS 67504-2344.
The Silent Auction will be conducted during the Specialty Show.

A larger auction with proceeds going to rescue and health research will be held at the Awards Banquet on Friday night. The items include collectables, hand crafted ETS items, prints, and custom designed works.
Once again Theresa is the coordinator of the event and items may be brought to the Show or sent to the above address.
Theresa requests that those members who are donating items list a suggested starting bid for the item.
Catalog ads are coordinated by Janelle Smedely.
Now is the time to start planning your ad for the catalog. The catalog is something that everyone looks forward to seeing and use for reference in the years to follow. Your camera ready ads must be received by April 5th.
